AER SKILLS has been empanelled as an Assessing Body under the Skill Development Initiative Scheme / MES [Modular Employment Skills] of Ministry of Labor & Employment Government of India vide online registration no. P/AB/00097.  The Modular Employability Scheme is a tremendous initiative to promote marketable skills in India’s labour and workforce. This will help our working/Labour class in getting decent employment and improving their condition and lifestyle in India & abroad. While India has large young population, only 5% of the Indian labour force in the age group of 20-24 years has obtained vocational skills through formal means whereas the percentage in industrialized countries varies between 60% and 96%.  As part of this scheme, the government aims at training and certification of about 1,000,000 workers per year.   AER SKILLS is conducting assessments in the following states in India: Tamil Nadu Karnataka Gujarat Orissa More than 10,000 candidates have been assessed so far.
