AER SKILLS is an Empanelled assessing body under Skill Development Initiative Scheme – Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. For conducting MES Assessments / Examination to candidates trained by any Govt. or Private agency (called VTP) or may be directly they had gain technical skills in informal way after dropping his / her school for any reason.
Skill Development is an upcoming Industry for professionals and a separate ministry is formed for this mission / vision; Ministry of Entrepreneurship
& Skill Development.
Objectives of the SKILL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE SCHEME:
I.
To provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, ITI graduates,
etc. to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure
available in Govt.,
private institutions and the Industry. Existing skills of the
persons can also be tested and certified under this scheme.
II.
To build capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course
curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country.

Our Vision
Provide competent & skill certified
manpower to the labor market. The candidates may either be trained under
various Skill Development Initiative Scheme by any Ministry working under Government
of India or may be trained under any Skill Development Missions / scheme of any
State Government or department. The benefit of being skilled will help a
candidate for getting better employment options in order to improve his / her economic
condition.
Our Mission
To assess 1 Million trainees
successfully by the end of Financial Year 2015-16. By providing more certified
skilled labor to the market; where the demand is presently fulfilled by unskilled
manpower or semi-skilled persons due to lack of skilled manpower, we may contribute in national development and
be the part of the Hon. Prime Minister’s vision of “Skilled India” & the
mission “Make in India”. |
